Jayasree Pradhan is one of successful candidates in civil services exam 2023 from West Bengal. The UPSC CSE 2023 results have been announced on 16th April of 2024 on official website. Her hard work and determination led her to this amazing achievement.
Jayasree Pradhan was born in the district of Darjeeling, West Bengal. And she has also grown up there. There are four members in her family including she, -- she, her parents and her elder sister. Her father's name is Eugesh Narayan Pradhan who is a retired math teacher at Municipality Boys School, and her mother is a GTA employee.
She took her school education from Loreto Convent, Darjeeling. Thereafter she obtained a law degree in 2022 from Law University, Karnataka. Besides education, she is very interested in music. Consequently, she has learnt classical music in 2015 from Trinity College London. And she is gifted with a talent of playing Guitar.

In conversation with sharing tips to crack UPSC CSE, she said, ''I'm somebody who has done self-study. I did not take classroom coaching as such. I prepared from home. I prepared in Darjeeling itself, in my little room. The direction that I wanted was provided to me by toppers. I used to watch a lot of toppers' videos especially in the beginning. So, I would suggest in the beginning, you can watch toppers' videos to get general sense what they are saying. After that you can stop, because then you will get confused. This is what I did it as well. Please believe in yourself. And some of you, you know, you may come from small places and small towns where you may not have adequate resources. I mean I did not have adequate resources as well. Yet I am here. UPSC does not discriminate when it comes to these things.
