The path to conquering the UPSC exam is widely seen as one of the most challenging and arduous endeavors one can embark on. The Union Public Service Commission finally announced the results of UPSC CSE 2023 on 16th April of 2024.
Rupal Rana, a candidate among many successful candidates, got the chance to serve the nation as an IAS officer. When she saw her name on the final list of successful candidates, this arduous path culminated in a triumphant moment. She achieved an impressive rank by successfully passing the examination.
Rupal Rana secured the rank 26 on her fourth attempt. She belongs to Barod in the district of Baghpat, Uttar Pradesh. Her father, Jasvir Singh Rana, is an Assistant Sub-Inspector by his profession. On the other hand, her mother, Anju Rana, is a homemaker.
Rupal Rana has studied in JP Public School, Baghpat, Uttar Pradesh. Thereafter she went to Birla Balika Vidyapeeth Pilani, Rajasthan. Later on, from Ramanujan College, University of Delhi, she has done her graduation in the subject of Mathematics.
Her parents' encouragement used to motivate her to succeed. But irony of fate, her mother got ill in the time of she was preparing for the main of UPSC CSE in full swing. This was the very critical time that had tried to detain her from success. In spite of being a critical situation in her family, she never gave up. With taking care of her mother, she kept preparing for the main exam.
Her mother could not recover from illness. Her mother breathed her last before Rupal succeeded.
Her father kept motivating her including all members of the family, though they had a great loss.
Rupal with her father and siblings Rishabh Rana and Sweety Rana's support passed the interview.
